Knowledge is the base of all success in life. In order to acquire any kind of awareness, you need to be able to study properly. For that reason, it is necessary to improve the wayyou are studying, keeping in mind a lot of methods and techniques you can adopt.

First of all, you need to understand the differences between “study” and “learn”, understanding “learn” as a resultfrom “study”.

There are a lot of meanings in dictionaries for these words, and I have chosen a couple of them, as follows: ‘Study is the process of learning about a subject by reading, thought,intuition, or research.’ In the other hand, ‘learn is to acquire knowledge of a subject or skill through study’.

In the context set up by the above definitions, we can understand that both activitiesare engaged and we cannot learn without a kind of study.

In this paper I present a synthesis of some methods and techniques you need to do for turn your study better and more beneficial, and I amgoing to divide the ways to study in three categories, as follows: how to study, attitude during class and the importance of reading.

How to study
The most important thing when you are studyingis that you feel comfortable, relaxed and energized. Do take the next suggestions:
1. Select an appropriate place for studying. It means that you need a quiet and orderly place, with wellillumination. One important thing is that you need to study in a comfortable chair, but not too much, because you would feel relaxed and probably you would want to sleep.
2. Make a schedule. Try to keep anorganized schedule in which you reserve a time in your day, especially to study. Select the hour in the day that you feel more comfortable for doing it, and take little breaks.

Attitude during classWhen you are in a classroom you need to be a very active student and attend the follow recommendations:
