Introduction
At present, the teamwork plays a vital role in organizational effectiveness, which determines howefficient a company can be in its many facets, including: internal communication, communication with investors or shareholders, new product launches and customer services. Depending on the nature ofthe business, the companies may depend on different teams, who works together to ensure that these facets are conducted successfully. That’s why today’s workplace is teeming with teams. In responseto an intense global competition, businesses are being forced to rethink and restructure their operations. Companies are expected to compete globally, they usually are challenged to meet higherstandards and increase profits, but often with fewer people and fewer resources. Striving to meet these seemingly impossible goals, organizations began developing groups and teams, for better decisions,faster responses, increased productivity, less resistance to change, improved morale, and reduced risk. Through this brief analysis of the group development process to work as a team, you’re going to beable to understanding the group development, and also to familiarize with the stages of progression in a team building.
