Task No. 2 Individual

Dear Students:

The Task No. 2 consists in making a Conceptual Map of English Culture Topics of United States (US) and United Kingdome (UK).

Foreach country, you have to consider the following Topics:

1.- Customs & Traditions.
2.- Typical Food.
3.- Favorite Sports.
4.- Religion.
5.- Music.
6.- Type of Government.
7.- Holidays.Complete the Example shown below, so, after each topic, you have to add some items, for example, below the Music you can add an arrow for “Rock & Roll”, another arrow for “Hip Hop”, another arrowfor “Country Music”, etc.

You can split the Map in two pages; one page for US and other page for UK.

To make the Conceptual Map, please download and use the following software:http://cmap.ihmc.us
(La idea es que elaboren un Mapa Conceptual utilizando el Software “Cmap”, cuya liga se muestra arriba. Una vez ya descargado, elaboren el Mapa como el ejemplo de arriba (tienen que hacerlo desdeun principio) y deberán de completarlo poniendo debajo de cada tema cultural, las instrucciones que aparecen arriba de cada recuadro. Por ejemplo, en el tema de la “Música”, las instrucciones dicen“Mention at least five”. Esto quiere decir que debajo del Recuadro de Música, deben de poner por ejemplo: Una flecha para “Rock & Roll”, otra flecha para “Hip Hop”, otra para “Classic Music”, otrapara “Country Music” y la quinta flecha para “Pop”.
Paste your Conceptual Map in a document using Microsoft Office Word.
Steps to export the Conceptual Map from Cmap Tool to a Word Document:
1.- Givea clicK to “Archivar”.
2.- Give a click to “Exportar Cmap como…”.
3.- Give a click to “Imagen…”.
4.- “Guardar en archivo (JPG)”. Save the file in a folder.
