A crash occurred, and Tommy, a boy of only 14, was thrown through a plate-glass window. Tommy suffered terrible damage to his muscles and skin, and his lungs weredestroyed as well. Fortunately, by ten-the early part of the twenty-first century-we had learned how to remplace all destroyed body parts with artificial parts.
