It's a great story of the 30 United States, better known as the Great Depression. Where racism towards blacks are amazing, where they had tostruggle to excel. The Great Debaters shows that, Professor Melvin Tolson was one of these Black leaders, who sought through words equality betweenblacks and whites, so they decided to form his group to discuss in front of thousands of people, the elect or the brave by were so to speak, James, whoat age 14 left big words, or say the only woman Samantha, a team that never gave up

The activity that Mr. Tolson developed in parallel was aleader of the great secret of farmers working group, which sought to rebel against injustice, the superiority and arrogance of their employers andthe established system. You must keep it secret and that (although the group was composed of white people too), remained completely prohibited theviolation of the social / political set.
That Mr. Tolson has been discovered and imprisoned, gender, thus abandoning one of the members of thegroup, everything seemed to be on the floor, but finally managed to meet its objective and present as large, also James, who at first only and theaccompanying final and present it to impress the public as well as their peers.
