The Green Revolution
From 1945 to the present, the Green Revolution which took place in developed countries and was then introduced to the developing countries was caused by technological innovationthat brought hope, having social effects as an impact on rural women’s life and social mobility, food supply incremented causing overpopulation and environment issues with conflicts.
The GreenRevolution was mainly caused by the technological advancements that occurred in the world, creating a new way for agriculture including useful tools which farmers around the world adapted for their use.Farmers of India’s state Pujab for example, where pioneers of the Green Revolution’s technology in their developing country becoming successful enterprising people able to utilize it (Doc 5). If peoplearound the world are able to adapt this technology to their own agriculture then a more profitable and stable agriculture and economy will take place, helping for the development of their countries.The Green Revolution is seen as an appropriate solution to reduce misery and educate people with technology knowledge so that they can produce more food themselves and have a better life (Doc 3). Thissolution can be helpful in lessening some misery and providing people with food but not all of them, in some places around the world these new technologies aren’t able to arrive because they aren’tcivilized enough or due to communication. For people who are unprivileged and suffer from hunger, the Green Revolution was like a miracle for them and seen as a new hope towards their success (Doc 4)with this type of agriculture that makes you rich (Doc 6). The revolution brought with it a release and change to people who took advantage of it.
