The microprocessor (or simply processor) integrated circuit is the central and most complex of a computer system, by way of illustration,it is usually associated by analogy as the "brain" of a computer. Is an integrated circuit made up of millions of electronic components. It is the central processing unit (CPU) of a PC microcomputerlisted as.
Is responsible for implementing programs, from the operating system to user applications, only programmed instructions executed low-level language, performing simple arithmetic and logicaloperations such as add, subtract, multiply, divide, and hits the binary logic memory.

The microprocessor is connected, usually by a specific socket on the motherboard of the computer. Typically, for correct and stableoperation, is attached to it a refrigeration system, comprising a heat sink made of a material of high thermal conductivity such as copper or aluminum, and one or more fans which force the expulsionof the heat absorbed by the cooler, between the latter and the capsule is usually placed microprocessor thermal paste to improve thermal conductivity.
