Three Doors Down

His story begins in Escatawpa, Mississippi, a town of less than 4,000 inhabitants located 35 miles east of Biloxi.
With Robert on guitar and Arnold on drums, they created three songs while in middleschool. One of the bands in the local high school introduced the guitarist Chris Henderson and the bassist Todd Harrell and finally came together to create 3 Doors Down.
Once they had many fans, theband recorded an EP in the recording studio in Lincoln Pascagoula, making a record attempt.
"Kryptonite" was played on a radio ad to promote a concert by 3 Doors Down, which reached the ears of COOWCPR in Biloxi, vest Kenny, who quickly added "Kryptonite" to the rotation of the station.

"The Better Life", released in February 2000, was certified six times platinum and a new version of "Kryptonite" reached # 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplaychart and topped the charts for six weeks. In 2000, it was the 11th best selling album of the year and "Kryptonite" would be named the No. 1 song of the year in all rock radio formats and ensure aGrammy nomination.
"Away From the Sun" immediately went gold, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard 200 and eventually go four times platinum. The eldest of his four hits was "When I'm gone," a song thathit No. 1 on the Top 40 Mainstream and Rock and No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
At the time of their third album, "Seventeen Days", they where No. 1 on the Billboard on the Top 200 and the single "LetMe Go" landed in the top 10. The album title refers to the number of days it took to write the songs.
