My Hero



My hero’s name is Maickel Melamed. Why I chosed him?. Well, for a very simple reason, because he is an inspiration for all human race, an inspiration to walkthrough life and to surpass all obstacles no matter what. Although he is a disabled person he has achieved so many incredible goals, that a normal person with all his capacities usually will notachieve.

We could say that his mission in life is to open the minds and harts of men and women.

This incredible man was borned in Caracas in 1975, that means he is 37 years old. Thedoctors that assisted his birth told his parents he could survive barely during 7 days. He was diagnosed with a severed motor handicap, and said he could not be able to walk, never.

He wasdifferent, when he was a baby he could not be breast fed because he did not had the ability of suction, he could not walk, he could not even hold his head.

He was taken to a bunch of doctors, whogave different opinions about his development, but finally was taken to the Children Hospital in Boston where a doctor called Ramón Cuevas had hopes on his recovery. Maickel says that he is a doctorthat believes in life like he does.

He received not only the love and encouragement of all his family, but of the people around him, and also the help of God. He realized that God is insideeach one of us, and when we discover that, we are able to produce our own miracles, our potential becomes unlimited, and we can achieve everything we want.

He went to the Universidad CatólicaAndrés Bello where he got a degree in Economics. At the university he realized he was very good in organizing groups, that he could understand very well the human being and that he was a leader in humanrelations.

When he finished university he went lo London on his own. There he realized he could do meny things by himself, he travelled to many other countries like Chile, Mexico,...
