To My Future Self

To my future self,

I hope that time has been good to you, and that you are alive and kicking. You wrote this letter ten years ago and gave it to Ms. Keith as an assignment. You are trusting thatthis letter would be sent back to you. I cannot predict what your life is like, but it is likely that some of the things you may be facing are things you went through with family, school, and work. Thepurpose of this letter is to remind you of your goals that you once had and things that were important to you at the moment.
The career that you could only see yourself in is that of healthcare.Hopefully you obtained your goals and are still working in this field. Your main goal that you wanted to achieve was to become a physician. You hated when people asked you about what you wanted to be.Because of insecurities, you did not want anybody to find out your goals. You would always ask yourself if you were smart enough. Actions speak louder than words and you did not believe in tellingpeople about your future plans with career or in life. When some one asked you about these goals you would become all flustered turning red, getting hot, and pouring sweat. . After being questioned bypeople, you would be fine, but soaking in sweat and so cold that you shivered. You had mini anxiety attacks just because of a random question concerning your life.
Things that are important to you nowhave to do with self image. This does tie in with your anxiety attacks. Everyone wants to have a good self image and they want to present themselves in the best possible way. You will take this to theextreme by telling people of the good things that are happening to you, while withholding the bad. For example if someone ask you about your weekend, you would respond by saying it was a great weekend;I played tennis and I watched an awesome movie. That sounds like a good normal weekend, right? Worried about your self image, you failed to mention that your neighbors were fighting all night and...
