The Big House (1st Part)
Bill Gates is the president of Microsoft, the largest computer software company in the world. He is the richest person in the United States. Microsoft is located in Seattle, Washington. Also in 1990, Bill Gates decided to build a house on lake Washington near Seattle.
At First, Bill Gates wanted a small house, he was single. He wanted a house with Kitchen,dining room, a living room, and three bedrooms. But in planning, Gates had many ideas. Also, in 1994, Gates got married. His wife, Melind had more ideas.
It took seven years to build the Gates house. It dosen’t have six rooms. It has 20 rooms!

Bill Gates es el presidente de Microsoft, la compañía de computadoras más grande de software del mundo. Él esla persona más rica de Estados Unidos. Microsoft se encuentra en Seattle, Washington. También en 1990, Bill Gates decidió construir una casa en el lago Washington, cerca de Seattle.
En primer lugar, Bill Gates quería una casa pequeña, era soltero. Él quería una casa con cocina, comedor, sala de estar y tres dormitorios. Sin embargo, en la planificación, Gates tuvo muchas ideas. También, en 1994,Gates se casó. Su esposa, Melind tenía más ideas.

The Big House (2nd Part)
There is an indoor swimming pool; the pool is 60 feet long. You can listen to music under water, when you swim. You can watch a move in the 20 seat theater. One hundred people can sitin the dinning room, two spas and a sauna.
In the main reception room, there is a 24-monitor video wall. The garage is very large; there are spaces for 30 cars!. There is a guest house for friend. And there is a boat house on the lake. Bill and melinda gates now have two children. They need more rooms so it’s time to expand the house!

La Casa Grande (2ª Parte)
Hay una piscinabajo techo, la piscina es de 60 metros de largo. Puede escuchar música bajo el agua, al nadar. Usted puede ver una película en el teatro de 20 asientos. Un centenar de personas pueden sentarse en el comedor, dos spas y sauna.
En la sala principal de recepción, hay 24 monitores en la pared. El garaje es muy grande, ¡Hay espacio para 30 coches! Hay una casa de huéspedes para el amigo. Y hay un boteen el lago. Coffee and Ecoturism
Marina is 16. She lives with her family in a small village near Oaxaca. Marina’s parents are farmers. The grow shade coffee. They do not use machines. They grow their coffee in the shade of the tress in the jungle andcollect it by hand, they do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers. In this way, they preserve the jungle and its wild life.
Marina helps her parents. She is also learning English. One day she wants to be a tour guide. Her village is close to the cuastal tourists areas of Huatulco, Puerto Angel and Puerto Escondido. Lots of turists vist the coffee growing areas because the views arespectacular, full of colorful butterflies, exotic birds and plants Marina thinks shade coffee and ecoturism are the future for her village.

Marina tiene 16 años. Ella vive con su familia en un pequeño pueblo cerca de Oaxaca. Padres de Marina son agricultores. Ellos cultivan la hoja de café. No utilizan máquinas.
