Throughout the years the industrialized societies have favored thedevelopment of tourism, generating changes in the living conditions of populations. The relationship between tourism and local development found employment as a principal part.

According to which sayingthe author, the tourism employment is considered as a "sources" of employment, is "an economic sector that is expected will demand the jobs in the future as a result of economic, social andtechnological transformation. Some sources of employment designed by the European Commission services include the environment, and cultural and leisure activities, including the tourism.

According to thedefinition by OMT defines tourism as "activities that make people in the travel and staying in places different of their usual environment, for a period of less than one year.

But, how are segmentedthis activities? To meet the demand are divided in two forms: direct and indirect. These cover aspects as hospitality, food and drinks and intermediaries.
That generated an economic impact caused bya change in the level or pattern of tourist spending and derived from the fact that the value of tourism is multiplied by a factor estimated, in order to leverage tourism to determine the overalleconomic impact. (J. Fletcher, 2000, Great Britain).

According to the proposed in the text of new tourism products, to aim diversify and promote new forms of tourism, which should be responsible tothe environment and the social environment, and should be allowed to create and maintain employment.
