An urban legend  is a form of modern folklore consisting of stories that may or may not have been believed by their tellers to be true.[1] As with all folklore and mythology, the designation suggestsnothing about the story's veracity, but merely that it is in circulation, exhibits variation over time, and carries some significance that motivates the community in preserving and propagating it.Legends are used as a source of folklore, providing historical information regarding the culture and views of a specific legend's native civilization. Legend may be transmitted orally, passed onperson-to-person, or, in the original sense, through written text.
Big foot: Bigfoot, also known as sasquatch, is an ape-like cryptid that purportedly inhabits forests, mainly in the PacificNorthwest region of North America. Bigfoot is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal humanoid Alleged witnesses have described large eyes, a pronounced brow ridge, and a large, low-set forehead; the top of thehead has been described as rounded and crested, similar to the sagittal crest of the male gorilla.
