BEFORE THE WORLD WAR I
The World War I was a conflict only in Europe, originated by the ambitious andfears of this continent. For 300 years they have been fighting everyone against everyone. After that, it became a combination between the military technology and the culture of each country. The war wasbased in 3 concepts: Political, Military, and Patriotism. From all the powers, the Germany was the most powerful of all, created by the wars against Austria and France. (Howard, 9-10)
That’s whyFrance was angry and Austria was divided in two monarchies, that’s the reason that was named “Austria-Hungary”. The 2 main empires of the time, England and Russia, were the other powers in the time andEurope was divided in this powers. What England wanted was a balance between the powers at the time he was expanding his power and territories. They unified their naval fleet. (Howard 16)
Spain haslost his naval power, so that give him the 3rd one in power, but he was replaced by Italy. The society were agricultural, dominated by aristocracy and governed by kings that they think god give him thepower to rule all.
In the 20th century, Great Britain was already industrialized, that make him rich, but vulnerable. Great Britain has the best naval army and in more than 1 century France hasbeen his rival, but France begin to get in a crisis and it wasn’t a rival to Great Britain anymore. And after the revolution of 1789, the farmers have the land for their self, but that have made thatthey can progress very much in the industry. France have been wining territories in Africa in spite of they were losing against Germany.
France were fearful of Germany, he went with Russia to beprotected by them. Russia was the other enemy of England, but Russia was a country with power so England can be scared. Russia is a big empire but it still limited because of the social retreated and the...
