Summery

Imagine having no electricity, no light, no water, no food, no gas, no friends and no childhood well…Zlata Filipovic didn’t have to imagine it because it was happening toher. Zlata’s diary is about a normal girl living a normal life but one horrible day war arrived to Sarajevo and everything changed. Soon Zlata was fighting to survive. Those “kids” were ruiningeverything including her childhood and she couldn’t escape from that hell. Zlata poured her biggest feelings in her diary the one she named Mimmy and had to live hearing gunfire, bombs, and seeing innocentpeople get killed. After two years of awful pain a miracle occurred, some publishers discovered Zlata and Mimmy and decided to publish Mimmy, soon the publishers took her and her family to Paris andfinally Zlata recovered her childhood and was a happy kid again.
