Currently the place most visited by many students at UPR Mayagüez Campus is the Student Center. The Student Center is a community center within theuniversity and is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors. Represents the main point of the cultural, social and recreational activities, and has areas of study andtutoring students. The Student Center is like a buffet. There is everything. The center has two meeting rooms, open terraces and low roof. The student center is a perfect place forstudents, it has what every student needs.

The Center is simple, its structure is common. It is green clear, and cream. The student center is open very early. It has five floors.On the first floor there are many people because there is a cafeteria, a Banco Popular branch, ATMs, La Cueva de Tarzan and the library "that is always empty" (sarcasm). The mosttime in the branch Banco Popular, the row is come out. Looking carefully at the first floor, people come out through the windows. The windows have a rare appearance, and indeed arewritten. Around the first and second floor there are plants. There are all parked in front of the center, there are bikes (Trek, Mongoose, Huffy,) golf carts, and cars beside.There are power poles in front of the center and emergency towers. On the first floor entrance has tables that make items to sell, as hippie clothing, college decals, among others. Thecenter also has many newsletters where you can see the activities and used items for sale. Around the building there are different trees and benches. In the universal time can seethe in and out of many people. The center also can share with your friends. It is very good place to meet. Surely the reality is that the university made a successful initiative.
