Bullfighting
Art or Animal cruelty.
Description:
Bullfighting is considered an art and expression of the Hispanic culture. This tradition creates controversy in many parts of the world.
Itis practiced in southern Spain and Portugal, as well as several countries of Latin America such as Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Panama and Bolivia.
Rituals for abullfight:
The bull its released from the cage to the ring , where the matador and the baderilleros test the bull with a cloak and the picadores enter riding a horse with spears. When the bull attackthe horse the picadores attack the bull in his morillo (that is an amount of muscles on the bull`s neck), that causes that the bull looses adrenaline and loose agressiveness.
The part of thebullfight that is an art is when matador began to neetle (torear) the bull.
The jury decides:
When the matador and the bull gives to the audience an exellent spectacle the judges exempted the bullfrom being kille. (when the bull is exempted from being killed is the best pride for a matador).
If the matador and the bull gives a good spectacle the bull is killed, so the judges an theaudience decide if the matador is deserved to have the ears an the tail of the bull.
When the matador and the bull gives to the audience a bad spectacle the matador only surround the arena.
Thebullfighting should be illegal?
I am in favor of bullfightings because it is a tradition from the XI century.
When a bull is killed his leather is used for doing jackets, wallets, shoes, etc.
andthe rest of the bull is used for food.
I think that when the bull is fighting with the matador, the matador damage the bull, but the bull can also Savage seriously the matador, and when thishappens the bull is exempted from bieng killed.
The bullfights involves a lot of money and give jobs in the farms to the people that crew the bulls and for the people that works in the Plaza de Toros.
