Burger King Beefs Up Global Operation
1. By mid-2009, Burger King was not in any of the following five countries: France, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, and South Africa. Compare these countriesas possible future locations for Burger King.
To us the best countries to imply the burguer kings business are France, Pakistan and south Africa, because of these countries have no culturalrestrictions in the consumption of meat due to indian people these animals are considered sacred.
Para nostros la paises mas recomendables para expandir el negocio son Francia, Pakistan y Sudafrica debidoa que estos no tienen ninguna restriccion cultural en consumir carne como india ya que para esta cultura este tipo de animals son sagrados.
2. When entering another country, discuss the advantagesand disadvantages that an international restaurant company, specifically Burger King, would have in comparison with a local company in that market.
As we can see the first disadvantages ofentering to a new market specifically burger king are in small markets, the problem is that there may be several competitors and only just one slaughterhouse which means it will be hard or even impossiblesupply all these ones.
The advantage of early entrants markets is that there is no need to spend in creating a supply infrastructure due to it already exists and it is easier to grow.
Comopodemos ver las primeras desventajas de entrar a un mercado Nuevo en el caso de burger king es que nos podemos encontrar con varios competidores y con un solo proveedor lo cual significa que sera dificlo imposible que este pueda abastecer a todo estos.
Y la ventaja de entrar a un Mercado mas grande y despues de algun tiempo es que no hay necesidad de gastar en crear una infraestructura deproveduria debido a que ya existe y es mas facil crecer y tener presencia en el Mercado meta.
