Resumen
El cálculo, proveniente del latín calculus, que significa contar piedras; fue usado por primera vez por los egipcios los cuales se vieron en la necesidad de implementar sistemasmás avanzados que ayudaran a resolver los problemas que se iban presentando. A medida que evolucionó fue usado principalmente por Arquímedes, René Descartes, Isaac Newton, Gottfried Leibniz e IsaacBarrow quienes contribuyeron de gran manera en el descubrimiento más importante del cálculo, que es la íntima relación entre la derivada y la integral definida. En el siglo XVIII se introdujeron lasramificaciones del cálculo como el diferencial, multivariable e integral en donde Euler complementó este mismo.

Abstract
The calculation, from Latin calculus, which means having stones; was first used by the Egyptians who were the need to implement moreadvanced systems that help solve the problems that were arising. As evolved was mainly used by Archimedes, René Descartes, Isaac Newton, Gottfried Leibniz and Isaac Barrow who contributed greatly in themost important discovery of the calculus, which is the intimate relationship between the derivative and the definite integral. In the eighteenth century the ramifications of the differential calculus,and integral multivariable Euler complemented where the same were introduced.
