Imperativo
Se usa el imperativo o "imperative" para dar o realizar:
 1  Instrucciones.
Turn to the right.
Gira a la derecha.
 2  Órdenes.
Sit down.
Siéntate. 3  Consejos.
Lock the door before you leave.
Cierra la puerta antes de irte.

 4Invitaciones.
Have another cup of coffee.
Tómate otra taza de café.
 
5  Sugerencias.
Stayat home
Quédate en casa
Hay una forma enfática del imperatvo, para suavizarlo.
Do + verbo en infinitivo sin "to".
Do be quiet.
Cállaos, por favor
La forma enfáticanegativa se forma con:
Don´t + you + verbo en infinitivo sin "to".
Don´t you come.
No vengáis

Para las question tags  y respuestas cortas se usa "will" , "can", o"would"
dependiendo del énfasis que queramos darle.

Imperativo Afirmativo
Se forma con el verbo en infinitvo sin "to".

Come here! ¡Ven aquí!
En inglés no sedistngue si es 2ª persona del plural o singular a menos
que se indique en la oración mediante el uso de un vocatvo. Se sabe por
el contexto.
Hay una forma enfátca delimperatvo:
Do + verbo en infinitvo sin "to"

Do be quiet.
Drink a lot of water, Peter
Open the windows, guys
Come in and sit down, please

Bebe mucha agua, Peter.
Abridlas ventanas, chicos.
Entra y sientáte, por favor

Imperativo Negativo
El negatvo se forma con:
Do + not + verbo en infinitivo sin "to".
Forma larga
Do not comehere

Forma corta
Don't come here

 
No vengas aquí

Ejemplos:
Don't be late, guys.
Don't talk in class
Don't smoke here

No lleguéis tarde, chicos.
No hables enclase
No fumes aquí
