Politics | When the Spanish got to Mexico, they started with the conquest process and later on implanted the government headed by the Spanish. The Portuguese landed inBrazil. Eleven families settled there with the idea of exporting products from Brazil to Europe, this was the process of Colonialism. The northern part of America in where the Americans arrived wascolonized first. It was not until a long period in were Americans started to rebel to the English. |
Economics | In Mexico, the Spanish started to take everything and export it to Spain. Almost all ofthe gold was taken from the country. They used local and exported black people to exploit all the products this helped the economy in Spain and also all over Europe, not only because of the Spanish,but also thanks to the French, Portuguese and English. |
Religion | Portuguese and Spanish explorers were given the task from the Pope to expand Catholicism to the new discovered land. The actualUnited States citizens share a lot of religions due to the different people that established in their land. Most of them Anglicans, protestants and Catholic in the southern part. |
Society | In theNew Spain, society was divided into a caste system. This gave everyone a specific task and gave you power depending on your place. This gave more power to everyone that had Spaniard blood. |

Conclusion:
Spanish came to America and took advantage of everything they could; they came for the gold, glory and God. All of the gold that was found inthe New Spain was exported to Spain to help the church with the money they had lost with the Protestants. Many followers were gained with the conquests and also Spaniards that came and lived here...
