According to the article the main objectives are learning about the values of each culture and the understanding different people’s perspectives and ways to live. We will takea deeper look on each point and go through better details. The Individual – Collective Dimension divided into two types of societies the individual oriented which is member of the society are moreindependent from the other member for taking decisions and Collective oriented societies are those based on groups and members instead that individualism. As well the Equality-Hierarchy Dimension thatdiscuss the differences between social statutes, power in the societies and roles. As well is dividing into two categories: egalitarian Societies (low status) and hierarchical societies(High-status).The Tough-Tender dimension based in peoples’ jobs relationships with the others and segregation of genders (male-female power). The Uncertainty-Avoidance Dimension divides into low uncertainty and highavoidance the differences between both are the stress and the strict norms and rules applying. Finally, the Time Dimension which is the uses and customs of each culture.
