Time Management:
Time is a special resource
• We all have the same.
• Once past no longer recover.
• Any activity takes time.
Can we control the weather?
• We can control our activities.
• So we do:
- More activities?
- Those activities that are most important
• We provide greater satisfaction
• They take us towards our goals
The time is undoubtedly the most valuable resource we have.Is finite, scarce, relentlessly progresses and limits us in many aspects of life. One of the most interesting things I learned in the business environment is that big business are often excellent managers of time.

The best leaders of this age understand that time management is not about squeezing every last minute a day. Stephen Covey, one of the most internationally recognized authorities inleadership is concerned, says that time management is the ability to squeeze more hours a day. Nor is self tripled to do more things. In fact, it has nothing to do with making more things to realize is what is most important.

Here I provide a set of best practices by well-known expert time managers. I can assure you that if applied regularly, you will experience a noticeable increase in yourproductivity.
. Clearly defined objectives and select the most important. Be more effective with your time is completely irrelevant if you do not know where to invest. Sometimes people spend a lot of energy trying to be more efficient, without knowing exactly what we want. Remember that it is essential to distinguish between things that are important and which are not. An easy way to accomplishthis is to determine how much your time per hour, ie the amount you want to earn per month divided by the hours you work (the standard is 160: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and 4 weeks per month). Having determined this value only follows the following rule: do not do anything to potentially pay you unless your rate per hour multiplied by the time you'll spend on the task.
Analyze how you spend yourtime. You'd be surprised how many little things we spend our time. However, to know exactly what these little things, we must first make them aware, and this is achieved by keeping a record. One way is to use a watch with an alarm to sound every 30 minutes. Every time the timer rings, writes briefly the activities you did in the past half hour. Once you have the records, examine them. How areyour goals with the activities that really invest the time? Are you really taking things relevant and priority?

Bring a list of pending tasks. This is one of the most simple yet most powerful of any system of time management: the task list. No matter if you use the electronic device or a fashionable brown paper, but has a record. What really makes the difference is in the habit of writing yourpending tasks day after day.

Prioritizes your tasks. Once your list, determine which are the most important and mark them in some way to stand out from everyone else. If the list is large, make a new list of priority items for the day or week. Returning to the practice of determining your worth per hour, giving more priority to the tasks that will potentially pay more.

Plan your day fromthe day before. All time management experts recommend plan from the previous day the next day's activities. Take the last 10 minutes each day to review your to-do list and determine what you have to realize the next day. This simple exercise will allow you to start each day knowing exactly what you need to do and which task should start.

Do not leave things for later. Goes the old adage: " Neverput off until tomorrow what you can do today." Defer to end things you do not like to do is one of the worst strategies you can use, because all you will achieve is to prolong the stress associated with the task. Do what you do not like to do first! Thus, the day will pass more pleasant. If the task is too big, divide it into smaller tasks that is easy to take the first step.
