Global warming
Global warming is the increase observed inthe last century in the average temperature of Earth's climate system. Since 1971, 90% of the energy increase is stored in the oceans, especially in the first 700 meters surface. Despite the dominantrole of the oceans in store energy, the term global warming is also used to refer to increases in average air temperature and sea surface of the Earth.
Why spend?
Heating occurs by the greenhouseeffect, because the sunlight penetrates from outer space hits the surface of the planet, it is converted into heat and is then radiated back into space.
Some of the heat can not escape because it isreflected back to Earth by producing greenhouse gases. These gases, water vapor, carbon dioxide and methane allow light to pass but prevent heat from escaping, thus simulating a greenhouse, and henceheating.
As I prevent it?
* Replace traditional light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs (save over 60 % energy).
* Adjust the thermostat on heaters and air conditioning.
* Avoid using hot water insink and washing machine.
* Increase consumption of recycled paper to avoid deforestation.
* Reduce fuel consumption, opting for hybrid vehicles, or use public transportation or bicycle.
* Avoidunnecessary use of water, bathe together, for example.
* Recycle everything you can, by the way, you save.
* Reduce the consumption of red meat, produce these meats energy intensive.
* Save all the energywe can.
Calentamiento global
