LA CONFLICTIVA RELACIÓN HOMBRE MÁQUINA

Resumen
El objetivo del presente trabajo es tratar de dar cuenta de la relación entre el hombre y las
máquinas a partir de un hecho puntual: la victoria de Deep Blue sobre Kasparov.
Cuando, en mayo de 1997, Deep Blue le ganó un match de ajedrezal campeón mundial Garry
Kasparov se empezaron a agitar viejas discusiones en todos los ámbitos sociales, tanto
académicos, científicos o en la vida cotidiana. Cuestiones como la superioridad o no de las
máquinas, el control sobre la propia creación, lo propio o distintivo del hombre o los alcances de
la inteligencia ganaron la tapa de los diarios y las discusiones especializadas.
¿Por qué provocótanto revuelo la victoria de este programa? ¿Qué fantasmas agitó? ¿Por qué,
por ejemplo, la victoria del automóvil sobre el hombre, en términos de velocidad, no provocó
titulares catástrofe en los diarios? ¿Qué significa para el hombre ser vencido en un juego de
ajedrez?
Hay principalmente dos cuestiones alrededor de este hecho que generaron la discusión. La
primera hace referencia a la ya clásicapregunta: ¿Pueden pensar las máquinas?
Esta problemática de importancia tiene un arraigo que trasciende al nacimiento de la cibernética
y a su desarrollo técnico.
La segunda cuestión se trata de que alcanza un status filosófico y cognitivo​

Hay otro posible eje
de disputa y es aquél que hace referencia al temor que provocan las innovaciones tecnológicas
que el hombre crea. Se trata, ni más nimenos, del Mito de Frankenstein. En este terreno, la
relación hombre máquina se transforma en una relación delicada e inestable que pone en
discusión el papel del hombre en el mundo. ¿Hasta dónde puede llegar el hombre en su afán
creador? ¿No estará infligiendo una ley no escrita?
Esta cuestión también supone un tiro por elevación al papel de la ciencia y su rol transformador.
Abstract
The presentwork objetive is try to realyze the relacionship between the man machine from a
sngle event: The victory of Deep blue over Kasparov. In May 1997, Deep Blue win a chess match
to the world champion Garry Kasparov, this event generate a lot of conflicto in every
social,academic,science scopes or daily life. Questions sueh the machine superiority, the own
creation control, the distinctive of the man,the reach of the inteligence. Was the trend of many
papernews covers and specialized discussions
Why the victory of this program make a lot of disturbance? What kind of ghost disturbe? For
example, Why the automobile performance over the man doesnt make catastrofic newspaper
covers? What means this chess game defeat for the man?. Over all of these discussions there
are two, that are the mostrelevant. The first make reference to the famous question Can

machines think? This question have an impact over the cibernetic birth and his tecnical develop.
It is matter between cognitive and philosofycal status
There is another posible axis of dispute that make horror reference, the technologies that men
create. It is about, the famous mith frankenstein. In this field, the relacionship betweenman
machine it becomes in a delicated one and unstable that put on discucion the role of man in the
earth. Theres is a limit for men creations?

Introducción
Deep Blue (Azul Profundo), fue un ordenador de IBM que jugaba ajedrez.
Se remonta a los años 1985, cuando el estudiante Feng-hsiung Hsu comenzó a desarrollar un
jugador de ajedrez computarizado llamado "Chiptest", pero el proyecto propiamente comenzó
en 1989, IBM.
Así, el equipo que se formó en IBM pasó a denominarse The Deep Blue Team y...
