LEADER: A leader is someone who influences a group of people towards the accomplishment of a goal.

A leader should have a vision about what can be accomplish and makea commitment to the mission and to the people he leads.

A leader must assume the risk of lost and failure.

CHARISMATIC LEADER: He gathers followers through dint ofpersonality and charm, rather than any form of external power or authority.

AUTOCRATIC LEADER: He´s the only one in the group that makes decisions about work andorganization of the group without having to justify them at any time. The evaluations criteria used by the leader are not known by the rest of the group. Communication isunidirectional: from leader to subordinate.

DEMOCRATIC LEADER: He makes decisions after group discussion, enhance and thanked the opinions of their followers.
Theevaluations criteria and standards are explicit and clear.
When it comes to solving a problem, the leader offers several solutions which the group has to choose.LEADERSHIP: It is a process in which one person guides the thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors of others. Leaders set a direction for the rest of us; they help us see what liesahead; they help us visualize what we might achieve; they encourage us and inspire us.

IMPORTANCE: Without leadership a group of human beings quickly degenerates intoargument and conflict, because we see things in different ways and learn toward different solutions.

Leadership helps to point us in the same direction and harnessour efforts jointly. Leadership is the ability to get other people to do something significant that they might not otherwise do. It’s energizing people toward a goal.
