LMFAO is an American electropop. The group was formed in Los Angeles (United States) in 2006 by Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy, born on September 3, 1975) andSkyBlu (Skyler Gordy, born on August 23, 1986). They are respectively the son and the grandson of the creator of the record Motown, Berry Gordy. His first qualifiedsingle "I'm in Miami Birtch" was released in December, 2008 and reached the number 51 in the list of "Hot 100 ". A lot of of his music incorporates a theme of partyingand drinking, and the group commonly refers to his music as "Party Rock". His simple more successful is understood by "Party Rock Anthem ", which came to the maximumposition of the list of Hot 100. Redfoo and SkyBlu grew in the neighborhood of Los Angeles called Pacific Palisades, where they formed the group LMFAO in 2006.Redfoo is SkyBlu’s uncle, meaning that Redfoo’s father is also SkyBlu’s grandfather. Redfoo is the eighth and youngest son of Berry Gordy. The mother of Redfoo is NancyLeiviska, a director of musical videos and a writer. The name of the duo comes from a conversation that SkyBlu had with his mother in Instant Messenger where he saidthat he wanted of name for the duo "Sexy Dudes" (Sexy Uncles), to what his mother answered with a LMFAO. LMFAO is Laughing My Fucking Ass Off (Me parto mi maldito culode la risa), but according to the duo themselves, LMFAO stands for “Loving My Friends and Others” In November 2008, they signed to record company Interscope. On July1, 2008 was in iTunes "Party Rock " and on July 7, 2009, his complete disc, Party Rock, with fifteen songs.
