I want to start my talk with the first part of one of my favorite primary songs
I see my mother kneeling
With my family each day
I hear the words she whisper
Asshe bow her head to pray
Her plea to the father quiets all my fears
And I m thankful

A Mother is a special person in someone’s life. From the proclamation of the World“The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for Parenthood as husband and wife. “Mothers help heavenly Father with his Plan of Salvation. We must never forget that awoman’s greatest privilege, blessing and opportunity is to bring God’s children to the earth.
As a mother of three little children I can see and recognize the enormous job the mothers do for us. Iwill list a few skills the woman develops in her career of motherhood:
Chef, nurse, psychologist, coach, spiritual adviser, story teller, photographer, driver, monster hunter, translator, boo bookisser, listener, and one of the most important a teacher.
Elder M. Russell Ballard said in the May 2008 Ensign. There is not a perfect way to be a good mother. Each situation is unique. Each motherhas different challenges, different skills and abilities, and certainly different children.
“One of the early and primary abilities of children is imitation “They imitate much of what they see andhear, and it is this ability that allows a fifteen month old baby to articulate her first words, and it is what motivates a twelve month old to start walking, and our toddlers to try to partake thesacrament, Or our teenagers to start smoking, or maybe be involved in something worse and dangerous. How blessed we are to have the gospel in our lives and lead by example. President
I want to sharetwo scriptures with you. They can be found in Alma 56:47 and Alma 57:21 that happens when Helaman and his two thousand stripling sons fought with miraculous power to retain the city of Antipara...
