Every day is an adventure with my friend Maya and me. We love to have new adventures and sharing them with friends and family. Last night Maya and I where so happy toknow that me and my friends from 3rd grade are going to go into the wide open jungle for a two day camping. Today Mrs. Oxford left a note with the instructions that needs to be fallow; first we need tobring our tent where Maya and I are going to sleep. Then we need some swimming clothes, jacket, socks, shoes, sandals, and our favorite musical instrument. The note also said that we need to be atschool at
8:00 am in the morning for a first aid class before leaving to the adventure so we can save a life in case we need it. The next day Maya and I show up at school very early. We were sohappy about the trip especially because we love to hunt butterflies. After the first aid class the adventure begins at the bus, everyone was smiling, singing “the wheels of the bus” and Maya was playingthe drum. After a few hours on the bus we arrive to the wide open jungle it was a huge place with a beautiful pond and lots of animals. It is really nice to smell the flowers, see the animals andfeel the air of nature in your cheeks. We explore the place for a while then we set up the campsite with the tents. It was very funny looking at the shapes like triangle, cubes and octagonal tents.The material for each tent was different one was very thin and the other one was very thick but all of them were worth it for our trip. finally we got to make dinner they show us to cook spaghetti;first you stick a piece of butter into pasta and then you mix the meat and sauce and it is ready to eat. It was a really nice trip and we learn so many things. Fallowing the traditions from the tribe Mayashut a door really hard for wisdom, I drop a penny in the pond for luck and our whole class dances so we can send a message to the gods of the rain.
