The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

This short story is all about the adventures of three young boys who were friends and playmates, Tom Sawyer, Joe Harper and Huckleberry Finn were the names of thethree boys, Aunt Polly was Toms aunts name whom he lived with and who raised him as a son.

The adventures of the three boys begin one night when they go out one night to go to the cemetery to wait tosee ghosts and they witness the murder of the town doctor, Doctor Robinson, at the hand of Injun Joe who was accompanied by Muff Potter. Both of these men had been hired by Dr Robinson to dig up thebody of Hoss Willimans for the Dr to use in his medical practices.
The three little boys are very much afraid because of what they had seen that night, but they also felt very bad because Injun Joehad make it look like Muff Potter had killed the doctor when it had been him. Muff Potter was now in jail awaiting trial for the murder of the doctor.
The three boys decide to escape avoid being seenby Injun Joe, even though Injun Joe didn’t know that they had seen his accions. The boys escape to a nearby island, Jackson Island. They would swim in the ocean and fish for their food and even triedsmoking, although they got sick because of this. The whole town believed that they had been murdered and arranged a funeral for them at the church, during the ceremony the boys walked into the churchand there was great happiness.
Soon the trial of Muff Potter was about to begin and three boys were feeling very bad for Muff because they knew that he was not guilty. So Tom decieded to testify atthe trial telling the truth about that it was Injun Joe was the real killer. During Toms testimony Injun Joe, who was in the court room at the time, jumped out the window and escaped.
Injun Joe wasnowhere to be found for months now and the boys were beginning to forget his very existence.
Soon the boys are off an another adventure, treasure hunting. They go hunting one day for treasures and...
