Perfect Tenses
PRESENT PERFECT
- I have cleaned the room.
- You have watched the film.
- He has worked a lot.
PAST PERFECT
- I had listened the song on theradio.
- Maria had joined the dance club.
- They had helped to work for the victims in Japan.
FUTURE PERFECT
- You will have perfected your English by the time you come back fromthe U.S.
- I am not going to have finished this test by 3 o'clock.
- By next November, I will have received my promotion.

Can (could) ; must ; (should) ; may ;might
General Rules: 1. They are always followed by infinitive without to
2. They never add an “s” in the 3º person singular (present)3. We never use the verb “to do” for the negative and interrogative

POSSIBILITY FORMALITY-It can rain today 100% -Can i open the window? X
-It may rain today 50% -May i open thewindow? XX
-It might rain today 10% -Might i open the window? XXX
EXAMPLES:
1. I don´t know if he may come.
2. He´s sure, he can go tothe party.
3. You should bring me a book because i don´t have any.
4. Can you speak louder?
5. He might come tomorrow but he´s not sure.*(PASSIVE VOICE)*
