CONSEQUENCES
1.If you use the cell phone or radio in class, I will confiscate it and give to our parents.
2. If you were tardy in class or don’t wait the teacher in the classroom, you are unable to receive 20 points for Bell Work.
3. If you use rude language or bad manners, you will have 5 points less.
4. If you talk during the explanations or classmates’ opinions, you will lose a permission ticket forrestroom.
5. If you don’t ask for permission, you will lose another permission ticket for restroom.
6. If you eat, drink or chew gum during the class, you will explain to your classmates about nutrition next day.
7. If you forget the materials for class, you will explain the lesson next class.
PROCEDURES
1. About restroom
Permission for the restroom: 5 passes for all period.
2. About homeworkHanding homework in a box.
3. Give responsibilities in class (rotate)
* Erasing the board.
* Check the dictionaries in class.
* Bring the photocopies to class.
* Take the attendance.
4. Extra work: crosswords, articles, puzzle, books (box for another activities)
5. First Activity in class
Greet the students, and then we are going to stand up, be silence and pray.
Next, theyopen their notebooks; write the date and the weather. Then write the objective of the class and do the first activity: complete, reading, etc.
6. For control the discipline during the class.
Using a card: yellow, green or red to get their attention, responsibility, respect, and to establish the appropriate voice level in the classroom.
7. Special Cases
Write notes for parents in specialcases of discipline, attention, responsibility, respect.
8. About participation
Use a tool or an object to organize the participation in class.
9. Other activities
Give to the teacher things that you find in the classroom.
Prepare a card with questions about personal information:
* Name: What’s your name?
* Number of brothers or sisters: How many brothers or sisters do you have?
* Pet:Do you have a pet?
* Hobby: What’s your favorite hobby?
* About family: Who do you live with?
* About English class: What expectations do you have for/me as a teacher/this class?
* Celebrations: When is your birthday?

CARD NAME GAME
I have all of their names written on a playing card. While seated at the carpet, I distribute one card to each child (makingsure no one has their own name). When their name is called they have to say something positive about the person on the card. This has really helped them to learn about respect and treating others how they want to be treated. It is fun and only takes about five minutes.
CLOSING ACTIVITY
As students walk in the door hand 10 scrap pieces of paper out at random. Class knows that if they get a piece ofpaper they have to write a comment about the class topic that day or a question they have. It may be a question a neighbor had. This gives me something to do if I wrap up early or something to start off the next class session. Check for understanding or clarification. It also allows students to ask questions anonymously as I shuffle the papers and others can grab a sheet to add to the stack.MUSICAL TRANSITIONS
When it is time for my class to transition from one activity to another, I play music to motivate them to clean up quickly. I try to pick music that is upbeat and very catchy. After the children are done cleaning up the activity at hand, I usually let the music play a little bit longer so the children can dance out any extra activity they may.
