Procedimiento Para Un Dmr

\2. SCOPE.


This procedure applies to any raw material which may present visible damages of quality issues and needs to be repacked, inspected or scrapped. Also involves El Paso WarehousePersonnel.


1. Purpose.


The purpose of this procedure is to make an easier and rapid process of DMR’S for El Paso Warehouse personnel.

4. RESPONSABILITIES.

1.- The El Paso Warehouse personnel are responsible for recognizingand detecting the damage that the material presents and transportation methods when the material is being send back to the customer


2.- The quality department has the responsibility toinspect and decide the disposition of the material (in case of having any defect).

5. PROCEDURE.


5.1.- When the shipping department in Juarez sends DMR into the El Paso warehouse, theshipping clerk will include the DMR information in the bill of lading, this will include the number of pieces, number of containers, the pallet count and the weight.




5.2. - The qualitydepartment will send an email to the El Paso warehouse informing the disposition of any DMR, this will include the transportation method when the material is being sent back to the customer.5.3. - When the warehouse personnel receives any material that presents visible damages or quality issues, the warehouse personnel will proceed as follows:


1. Pictures of the damaged productwill be taken inside the trailer, and outside for proper prove of damage.
2. If the warehouse personnel can identify that the material presents any quality problem, the material will be receivedand placed at the designated quality rack, the PO will be received in the system and the inventory will be transferred to location 301.
