1. How does Gulliver get to Japan?
There is a perpetual commerce with the great empire of Japan. Gulliver hopes the Dutch will be curious and able enough to supply his defects. The Majesty was pleased to give him his license to depart, and honoured him with a letter of recommendation under his own hand to the Emperor of Japan. He presented him with four hundred forty-four largepieces of gold and a red diamond.
2. To whom is Gulliver taken in Japan?
On the 6th day of May, 1709, He took a solemn leave of his majesty and all his friends.
3. How does Gulliver get back to England?
Gulliver gets back to England, having lost only three men by sickness in the voyage, and a fourth who fell from the foremast into the sea.

Chapter I:

The name of the ship which Gulliver captains is Adventure.

Upon the ninth day of May, 1711, JamesWelch’s buccaneers forced Gulliver into a long-boat, letting him put on his best suit of clothes, which were as good as new, and a small bundle of linen, but no arms except his hanger. They rowed about a league, and then set him down on a strand.
3-How does Gulliver end up being left marooned?
Gulliver desired them to tell what country it was, but they swore they knew no more than himself,after they had sold the lading, to get rid him in the first place where they could discover land. Gulliver was pushed off immediately, advising to make haste, for fear of being overtaken by the tide, and so bade him farewell.

We later learn that the mane of these creatures is the Yahoos.
