Pay it Forward

Pay it forward is a movie about a bright boy named Trevor, who is in school and comes from a troubled home. His mom, Arlene, is an alcoholic woman that has two works to support herson. The first day of school Mr. Simonet, Trevor’s teacher, sent the kids a homework based on a project of changing the world. Trevor came with the idea of “Pay it Forward” and I think that is abrilliant idea because that could change the world.

“Pay it Forward” means to do a favor for three different people without being asked, and then, they have to do the same for three others. In themovie Trevor started helping Jerry, a homeless man. Next he tries to get together Arlene and Mr. Simonet because the both seem lonely and he might help Arlene to stay away from alcohol. Finally, he helpshis schoolmate who is being bullied. While he does that, a journalist was on the street without a car and suddenly someone gave him keys to a new car but to pay the favor forward. He tries to figureout where these pay it forward thing comes from.

Trevor helped Jerry; by inviting him to his home, his friend; by defending him from the kid that bullied him, and Mr. Simonet. Jerry helped a womanthat wanted to commit suicide and Arlene by fixing her car. Arlene helped her mom inviting her to Trevor’s birthday or whenever she wanted. Trevor’s grandma helped a black man. The black man helped agirl who had asthma by giving her his turn in the hospital and making the doctors attend her. The dad of the girl who had asthma helped a journalist by giving him a car. And finally the journalistfound Trevor who started this chain of favors and interviewed him.

This project changed many of the characters lives. For example, Arlene learned that she needed to make others respect her, left thealcohol and invited her mother to Trevor’s birthday. Mr. Simonet learned to value himself and realized that he could do more things not just his normal routine. A woman did not commit suicide because...
