Romeo and Juliet book’s report
The story takes place in the north of Italy, in the city of Verona. The main characters are two wealthy families: the Montague and The Capulet.
The story began witha fight between the two families, the prince of Verona arrived down town and asked them to stop fighting, because if not they will be banned from Verona, they cut off the fight and followed with theirlives.
Later Romeo received an invitation to attempt to a party in the Capulet’s mansion. He and his cousin accepted to go. At the party, Romeo looked at Juliet and felt in love with herautomatically. They danced and kissed till Lord Capulet realised who Romeo was and he asked him to go, Juliet had not idea about who was Romeo, so later she asked to her nurse who was that boy and the nurseanswered her : “he is a Montague”; Juliet was shocked, she knew their families hate each other and their love was impossible. This was the beginning of all their problems as couple; Romeo had never loveda woman that much, so he decided to go and visit Juliet and arranged their wedding, he promised he would be back next night. Juliet was looking forward to meeting Romeo again when the nurse showed upwith a terrible new about him, he killed Tybalt! The punishment for murdering was the exile, and Rome knew it. That night, he went to Juliet’s house to see how she was, then the sun came up and hehad to leave the place. Lady Capulet gave to her daughter a shocking new: she arranged a wedding for her. She was very unhappy and disagreed with her parents; all she wanted was get marry Romeo.Without any help she went to the church to ask for and advice to Frail Laurence, who gave to her a potion which had to drink in order to seem she was dead, she accepted to do it. Everything was planned: sheapologised to her father and told him she marries the man he had chosen for her. At night before she went to sleep, she drank the potion and felt down on her bed.
