Reporting News
From the golden age of print, when in the United States newspapers were lowering their prices, until the moment they became affordable forany worker, in anticipation of the popularization of Internet. The impact on society of this new form of communication has been very diverse, in part has reduceddirect interpersonal communication and has also facilitated the creation of a public opinion. The media is used to advertise directly or indirectly. We mustdistinguish, on one hand, the media as socio-political institutions, and secondly, the content and symbolic material consisting of different types of messagesdistinguishing between information and public opinion, entertainment and fiction, and advertising and propaganda. Within these contents it is reflected thedegree of influence, a term that should be understood from a social situation of collective life where subjects of any group are required to relate leading it tocooperate, so it is essential to have influence over each other. The media on internet does not accurately report the economy news because mainstream media areincreasingly cozy with the economic powers they should be supervising. The media like any other industry is driven by profit making. This is by creatingsensational and attention grabbing news at the price of exaggerating or distorting the truth. That’s why it is said that the media does not print or broadcastreports fairly. It does not cross the line between reporting and creating news, but sometimes, not often, the media would almost create news that do not exist.
