What are the pros and cons of social networks?
This is a fact we have to discuss, because this tool has some different ways to be used, in a positive or negative sense, it canbe used to make easier the communication between cultures, but also to infringe the privacy, and we have to start analyzing both.
First of all, I think that social networks had abig influence in our lives because only a few years ago we had found an easy way to communicate our emotions, exchange knowledge, and share information virtually. Therefore it hasbecome easier to cross the borders between countries and we can always be in contact with friends, relatives or people we haven’t seen in a long time.
Pros
Nowadays we can sharewith the people that we want photos, videos or any other stuff or information in just a few seconds and this makes distance no longer matters too much.
In the students life we cansee the advantages because we can share academic information, and each student can work from home
Cans
On the other hand we can see that social networks have become an essentialtool in our lives, the people have started lost the physical interaction, replacing this with virtual messages, even if the distance between them is so close.
As a result for thebad use it has been given, many people are victims for kidnapping because of the information that each person is giving in social networks as facebook, so we have to be careful andthink in the intentions of mean people, that provides false information to cheat as an example in my country we have the Marti’s case.
In conclusion i would like to emphasize thatsocial networks is very useful in our lives, but is also a double-edged sword so we have to pay attention to the people we let introduced in our profiles or information we give.
