Muhammad, was the prophet of the Muslims he was followed by many persons especially Muslims, he was the chosen. He made important teachings like The Hijra; it was a trip from Mecca,where Muhammad and all the Muslims were lived, to Yathrib. Muhammad went to Yathrib to be the Prophet and he was recognized by the ruler and lawgiver.
All the Muslims were monotheistic, based onbelief in one God, they had a “book” named Quran the sacred text of Islam, it teaches many things that we know like, God is all-powerful and compassionate.
They also had the Five Pillars, “There is nogod but God”, daily prayer, giving charity to the poor, fasting from sunrise to sunset during the holy month of Ramadan and the fifth pillar is the hajj that was the unique visit to the Kaaba.
TheIslamic system of law, was called Sharia, it regulates moral conduct, family life, business practices, government and other aspects of a good and obedient Muslim community. The base of the Sharia alwayswas de Quran and it applies all to legal situations.
At 732 Arab armies razed with all the conquers they made, after Muhammad dead, the Muslims didn’t know what to do, his legacy may survivewithout him. Abu Bakr tried to continue with Muhammad’s work, it did not work but the union of Muslims managed to conquer and make the Arab empire's reach to the Atlantic to the edges of India.
TheMuslims advance into Western Europe, and conquer parts of Spain, Muslims ruled for centuries in Europe; that’s why Spain has many baroque buildings. The Arabian conquest imposed taxes for non-Muslims butallowed Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians to practice their own faiths and follow their own laws. Many nomadic people in North Africa and Central Asia chose Islam immediately, the message was simple andthat’s why many people liked that way to rule. Spain was a Muslim civilization.
The Muslim Art reflected the Muslim traditions; the Quran was also the manual of how do the architecture, the poetry...
