Counter-Strike: A Medical Drug
There is no other simpler way to think about Counter-Strike: Source. There is no other way around the fact that it is no longer a mere luxury for us, students. Whatstarted out as a little fun one day, ended up as a constant, day-to-day thrill that we are basically dependent upon now. This game, should it be taken away from us, would end up leaving us even worsethan when we were before we had it.
Yes, it’s a videogame that which I’m talking about. But think of it this way: when someone gets used to something they get dependent to it, and should that personabruptly quit it, the body will quail: withdrawal symptoms. Same thing may occur on this basis. Us students find ourselves not eating on lunch in order to have more playtime. If someone has a specialsclass involving computers, it’s game time!
Counter-Strike has reached a point in our lives in which we are pretty much dependent on it, but it actually helps us in many great ways; the onlypossible problem with it is when it is abused. The game must not be taken away.
Before this game came to our lives, we also had other ones. Yes, they were grand to us, but not one ad shaken us up asgreatly as this one has. The ability to play with everyone, in a realistic and thrilling game, attracts the young gamer within us in a manner that could turn out unhealthy even. The feeling we get offhaving awesome moments with our best friends, all the while enjoying a great stimulant, is priceless.
Now, there’s a big reason why I believe the game cannot simply be stripped from our powers. They havetried it before, the evil ones. First point to consider is that, no matter how you try to wipe the game, we always find a way to get it back in.
