Abstract— with the following article the author attempts to establish a brief introduction about the 4G mobiletechnology and his technical details.

I. Introduction
Based on IP protocol, achieved through the convergence of wired and wireless networks. The main difference withprevious generations will be the capability to provide higher access speeds of 100Mbps and 1Gbps at rest. The security that will provide services of any kind anytime, anywhere.



II. LTE
LongTerm Evolution Standard implements an air interface based on OFDMA for the downlink(DL) and SC-FDMA for uplink(UL).

Standard Features
Link peak rate DL to 326.5Mbit/s for 4x4 antennas, 172.8Mbit/s for 2x2 antennas. 20 MHz frequency spectrum.
Peak link rate of up to 86.5 UL Mbit/s. Frequency of 20 MHz at least 200 active users per cell in 5MHz
Minimum latency 100 ms forcontrol-plane and up to 10 ms for the User-plane scalable Bandwidth.
Optimal size of cells of 5km, 30 km with slight degradation and up to 100km with acceptable performance.
Provides high performance forspeeds from 0 to 15 km/h. The connection is maintained at speeds from 300 to 500 km/h.
LTE proposed IP packet switching(PS).





III. 4G TECHNOLOGIES
The Architecture of the 4G mobilenetworks is based in technologies IP in the core and access networks, in witch will carry all traffic.
They need to apply QoS technologies and the architecture of IP has no warranty as to the qualityof service for voice and audio applications requiring rigorous requirements.
Implement AAA protocols to efficiently support user mobility by ensuring the proper identification and access forinter-domain mobility.
Ensure user mobility to connect to the network and achieve develop handovers without significant interruption of the communications.
