Algebraic terms: Any combination of literals and constants that contain the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, empowerment and radication.
Ex. 2ab

Polynomial: Theprefix “poly” means manyIs a finite sum of terms in wich all variables havewhole numbers exponents and no variable appears in a denominator.
Ex. x2 − 4x + 7

Term: Is an algebraic expression thatcontains only literal coefficient and literal part.
Ex. 5x

Polynomials are classified according to the number of terms they have.
Monomial: The prefix “mono” means one. Is a polynomial of one term.Ex. − 7x5

Binomial: The prefix “bi” means two. Is a polynomial of two terms.
Ex. a2 − b2

Trinomial: Is a polynomial of three terms.
Ex. 3x + 5y + 8
Absolute value: Represents the distance ofthat number to the origin in the number line.
Ex.

Addition of polynomials: Is the sum of two or more polynomials and apply the commutative and associative properties for addition and similarterms are reduced.
Before performing the sum can be put the similar terms vertically then reduce.
Ex.

Subtraction of polynomials: Is the difference of two or more polynomials. In the subtraction ofpolynomials is added to the minuend the additive inverse and reducing similar terms.
Ex.

Polynomial Multiplication: To multiply two polynomials using the distributive property of multiplication, multiplying each of the terms of the first polynomial by each of the terms of the second and final reducing similar terms.
Ex.

Division of polynomials: To divide two polynomials we proceed asfollows:
1 .- sorted the dividend and the divisor according to the exponents decreasing a variable appearing in both, including terms with zero coefficient for missing powers.
2 .- divides the firstterm of the dividend from the first term of divisor to get the first term of the quotient.
3 .- multiplies the first term of the dividend from the first term of divisor to get the first term of the...
