BIOGRAPHY “Taylos Daniel Launter”

Taylor Daniel Lautner (February 11, 1992, Grand Rapids (Michigan)) is an American actor and martial arts expert who has starred in films such as The Adventures ofSharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, and Twilight.

Taylor began his acting career after his martial arts trainer to persuade him to go to a casting of Burger King in Los Angeles.Although in the end did not choose, he enjoyed the experience so much he decided to continue the acting career. Soon, he and his family moved from Michigan to California so Taylor could audition morecastings. When Lautner was ten years old, his family moved permanently to Los Angeles to support him in his acting career full time.

His first role was in 2001, appearing in the film Shadow Fury.He also had roles as an extra in Summerland, The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids.

In 2005, at the age of thirteen, he played the role ofSharkboy in Robert Rodriguez film, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, a film where he could show some of his skills in martial arts. He spent three months in Austin, Texas, shooting thefilm. During those months, successfully auditioned for the role of Elliot Murtaugh, the son of the Bakers' rival, in the film Cheaper by the Dozen 2, with Steve Martin and Hilary Duff.
