RESUMEN
Antecedentes: La enfermedad de Sjögren obedece a un grupo de enfermedades inmunomediadas que afectan al sistema en todos sus conformantes, donde la audición también se ve afectada a través de una “Enfermedad autoinmune del oídointerno”.
Material y Métodos: Es un estudio transversal, descriptivo, con 27 pacientes de entre 34 y 80 años con Síndrome de Sjögren primario, a quienes se les realizó historia clínica, otoscopía, audiometría tonal, prueba de impedancia acústica y medición de reflejos estapediales ipsilaterales.
Resultados: De los 27 pacientes, 92.5% presentaron alteraciones, solamente 2 pacientes nopresentaron ninguna. 78% de los pacientes (21) refirieron síntomas auditivos, el primer síntoma referido fue Acúfeno. De los 54 oídos, el 50% (27 oídos) presentó algún grado de hipoacusia siendo la hipoacusia superficial la más frecuente, del otro 50% de los pacientes con audición normal el 70% presentaba caídas selectivas en frecuencias agudas, y 8 de ellos (30%) no presentaban caídas en ninguna de lasfrecuencia. La curva audiométrica más frecuente fue As según la clasificación Jerger en 37 oídos (69%), y solamente un 28% de los pacientes (15 oídos) presentó curva tipo A. Se midieron 216 reflejos estapediales en total, encontrando presencia de reflejos estapediales en 92 mediciones (42.5%) y ausencia de los mismos en 124 mediciones (57.5%).

Conclusiones: La afectación auditiva en pacientescon Síndrome de Sjögren es de tipo autoinmunitaria, sin embargo, el uso de Ototóxicos, la exposición previa a ruido y las comorbilidades son un factor importante en la génesis y el grado de Cortipatía. Es necesario realizar diagnósticos tempranos e iniciar tratamiento y/o rehabilitación para mejorar su calidad de vida.

Background: Sjögren's disease follows a group of immune-mediated diseases that affect the system in all its shaping, where hearing is also affected through an "autoimmune inner ear disease."

Conclusions: Hearing impairment in patients with Sjögren's syndrome of autoimmune type, however, the use of ototoxic, prior exposure to noise and comorbidities are an important factor in the genesis and degree of cortipathy. Early diagnosis is needed and initiate treatment and / or rehabilitation to improve their quality of life....
