STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Location of the Problem in Context

Lack of the interactive techniques was the first causes of the bad development in a competition of listeningskill of the tenth course of basic of students at ´´Nueve de Octubre ´´ public high school.
The problem was detected while one of us was working in the teaching practice in this institution locatedin the south of the city of Guayaquil in Huancavilca neighborhood.
According the conversation among different persons of the community like teachers, parents, students, we realized the problem isdue to that ´´Nueve de Octubre´´ public high school doesn´t have resources enough like English laboratory where the students can practice English learning.

Problem Situation

The students have alow motivation and the teacher applies scarce interactive techniques to get a good level in the knowledge of the English Language, so it is necessary to help them and contribute in all what we can.CAUSES AND CONSEQUENCES

Causes

* Lack of interactive techniques.
* Few motivation in the English Learning.
* Lack of creativity in the English Learning.
* Scare control ofactivities at home.

Consequences

* Conflicts among students.
* Students Bored in class
* There is not enough didactic materials.
* Students get bad grades.
