Chocolate, Sweet Elixir Of Life, Eating You I'll Live, And In Your Absence I Shall Die.

The word chocolate came from the nahuatl "xocolatl" and from the maya "chocolhá" and it was created byMayans, before the Spanish came here to America, it originally was a beverage that was just drunk in special occasions or festivals and it was very bitter because the sugar didn't existed here, becausethe sugar cane is from Europe.
Then Europeans came to America and they took it to Spain, there in Europe they started to distribute it, and when it reached Switzerland there was a man called JosephFry, who discovered how to mix up again cacao butter into the processed chocolate, and then he added sugar and it became solid and it is what we know now like a chocolate bar.
After that in USA therewas a man called Milton Hershey who had a chocolate factory, and he was the genius who added milk to it, and thats why we have creamy chocolate bars, now his company is called “Hershey’s”. He had afriendship with Franklin Mars who found “MARS”, one of the most important modern chocolate factories, at the beginning Hershey’s made the chocolate they used for their products like Milky Way, Snickers,Babe Ruth and M&M’s (most of them where ideas of his son, Forrest Mars). This last one was called that way because of the M of Milton and the other one of Mars, it was an easy solution to theproblem they had in that time, which was the melting of the product. After sometime MARS became an independent company and started to produce their own chocolate.
There are different kinds of chocolatetoo, like dark, with coffee, with milk, with nuts, with peanuts, in powder for the milk, in syrup, like ice cream, with liquor, with rompope , with cajeta, with vanilla, with orange, compound, withcookies, and white ones, this one according to the strict rules is not really chocolate because according to them it need to have at least 20% cocoa butter, 14% total milk solids, and 3.5% milk fat,...
