Sometimes I ask myself if I’m strong, but that answer is pretty “amazing” because I am. From something sad to happiness it’s my life. When I was nine years old my father past away from asthma and forme was one of the difficult moments of my life, but my story has not done jet. Before my dad’s dead I was I out going and active girl. After that I my life change I was quiet, sad and with a bigmemory of my father. We used to life in Mexico and horses were the last fashion, my dad one day that we went to a carnival I told him without interest that I wanted a horse. After a month he bought itfor me. That was for me the cutest thing that a father could do for a daughter and it was the most beautiful memory that I could have. When he died my mother and I didn’t have money and we had to sellthe house.
After three years latter my mother got sick I really did not think that she would die too. She died of cancer and other things that I really don’t know. When she died my angel auntAngela asked me if I wanted to come to the United States and she would adopt me. At that moment I said “yes.” It was the biggest opportunity that I could have. Of course it would be problems with thelanguage. I didn’t know any of English.
After five years I have learn English, maybe not that good but I can tell that I have survive. I’m at Horizon High School in El Paso TX. I’m about to graduateand I can prove that my story it’s amazing. After all those things that have happened to me I can tell that thanks to my angel I am the happiest person. Some people asked me if that smile someday it’sgoing to end. I hope not…
I also play softball and I fight everyday to be the best, I’m not but I tried. I fashion and reading the Seventeen magazines, I try to dress like those girls that come upthere.
