1. CITRIX TECHNOLOGIES /COMPONENTS USED IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE In thissection the basic Citrix technology will be discussed. This is to make the team aware of components like Data Store, Data Collector, Resource Manager, Installation Manager and Load Manager Etc. Farm for Citrix Servers should be defined as a collection of servers sharing the same data store information and grouped together for better Administrative control and manageability. Data Store is theinformation store which has the details of all static information of a group of servers called Farm. Data Store Have the following information • Farm configuration information • Published application configurations • Server configurations • Presentation server administrator accounts • Printer configurations Zone could be explained as a SUBSET of the servers grouped as FARM, who shares the same loadbalancing information. Data collector is the server which stores the real time information about the load condition of all the member servers of a Zone. License Server is the Server providing licenses for all servers and users on-demand. Load manager is used to balance the load created by connections to the server farm. It has many benefits like it maximizes system efficiency by balancing publishedapplication session across the server farm based on load limits set in load evaluators. It has pre defined load evaluators that help to create the customized load evaluators. Installation Manager allows an administrator to automate the deployment of applications, files, hotfixes, service packs and more to servers running Presentation Server.

2. CITRIXPRESENTATION SERVERS INSTALLATION AIRCEL CITRIX FARM consist of Presentation severs 4.5.The installation of Presentation Server is performed in stages. The first Presentation Server of the Farm is responsible for the creation of farm. The other PS will be joining the farm. 2.1 CREATION OF FARM Below is the step by step procedure of installing the First presentation server in a farm. BeforeInstalling the Citrix Presentation Server, some pre-requisites need to be configured before proceeding with the installation of Citrix Presentation Server 4.5.The prerequisites before installing Citrix presentation Server are: 1. Go to Control Panel à Add/ Remove Programs à Add/ Remove Windows Components. Check “Terminal Server” and uncheck the “Internet Explorer Enhance security Configuration”. Click“Next”.

2. Select “Relaxed Security”. Click “Next”.

3. In the Terminal Server License Server select the option “Use the license servers” and give the IP of the Citrix License Server(in Aircel Setup, it is 172.18.111.55) and click “Next”.

4. Click “Ok”.

5. In the Terminal Server Licensing Mode Screen Select Per User License Mode and click “Next”.

6. Select “Your domain or workgroup”. Click “Next”.
