Can you believe there are 30,000 McDonalds restaurants around the world, 32,500 KFC and 5,845 Taco Bells? That is a hugeamount of Fast Food restaurants. Fast Foods have the food with the most amount of grease and all though they taste delicious they are not good for teens/ children. Kids around 6-14 eat fast foods157,000,000 times every month. Schools that serve fast food are promoting these amounts of grease in children. While Schools are serving unhealthy foods they could serve healthier options for exampleinstead of having some fries for snack they could have an apple or instead of having a burger you could have a salad, and also instead of having some Coke or Pepsi they could serve Apple juice or water.You are probably wondering, how can we know if fast foods are really that bad? Teens all around the US eat a large amount of pizza’s, hamburgers, etc. That only adds calories. A single Fast foodme can be around 1000-1500 calories, and the average amount of calories in a day is 2000;. Fast Food is one of the main causes for obesity. Fast Foods are really high in fat and really low in fiber.Fast Food raises your blood pressure and it can also increase your cholesterol. They can weaken your blood sugar level. It also weakens your immune system.
To much intake of fast food can makeyou over weight. One of the most important threats especially for teens is obesity. Being obese or being called obese does not only cause problems on your physical health but on your mental health.Over weight teens usually have problems with their self- esteem because they don’t consider themselves beautiful. Obese teens are generally victims of bullying and teasing. Due to this a lot of them alsobecome depressed and have really develop anti social behavior.
Obesity is not the only problem for teens that eat a lot of unhealthy foods. We all know that Fast Food may damage your body...
