In spite of / Despite (a pesar de):
In spite of the cold weather, I'm going to the beach.

Even though / Although(aunque + indicativo):
Even though it is cold outside, I'm going to the beach.

I'm going to the beacheven though it is cold.
I'm going to the beach although it is cold.
However / Nevertheless / Yet (pero / no obstante / sin embargo):
She wants to buy awhite house; however, he wants to buy a red house.
She wants to buy a white house; nevertheless, he wants to buy a red house.
She wants to buy a whitehouse; yet, he wants to buy a red house.
-or-
... He wants to buy a red house, however.
... He wants to buy a red house, nevertheless.
... He wants to buy ared house, yet. this is incorrect.

Just the same (de todos modos):
Smoking has been shown to be harmful, but people continue to smoke just the same.-or-

On the other hand (por otro lado / por otra parte):
My new job is good in that I make more money,but, on the other hand, it's a lot more difficult than my previous job.
